One Farm At A Time
One Farm At A Time is a program
facilitated by the Sacramento Natural Food Coop and the Davis Food Coop.
It is a program that they have started in order to help to preserve
farms and farmland. The program was created in partnership with Good
Humus Produce to help raise funds for the agricultural easement, but it
is the hope of the Coops that this model will be used for other farms
wishing to preserve their land after Good Humus' project is finished.
Hopefully, this program will grow and can be used all over the
country by any coop who's staff and members would like to help preserve
farms
