The Davis Famers Market is a community market that was started in 1976 by a group of students. Jeff and Annie Main were a part of the creation of the market and have been involved ever since. In the 1970's there were only a few farmers markets in all of California and the Davis market was one of the first Certified markets, where the produce is sold by the farmer and there is no middle man involved. The Davis market has become well known all over California as one of the best markets, not only for fresh tasty food, but for the beautiful park setting and the community and family atmosphere. The Wednesday summer market has music and local restaurants serving dinners, making it an exciting place to purchase market food, and to also have an evening in the park under the stars.

You can find Good Humus Produce at both the Wednesday and Saturday markets nearly year round.
2011 will mark the 35th year of the market, and that is about 1880 Saturday markets for Good Humus at the Davis Market!
